Well it's been a while since I've done anything with the Lift Assist and I'm sorry I haven't been good to it. The prototype has actually been taken apart and the hydraulic cylinders will be used to make a see-saw for my daughter.
I'll be working on developing PVC only hydraulic cylinders and will try to minimize the leaking.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at migpics@gmail.com.
Thanks
Miguel

Welcome to my first posting of Lift Assist!

Hi, I'm Miguel and here's a photo of my lift assist.
It's a home made (senior project) device that helps people off the toilet.
It works off the water pressure and is rather rudimentary but it's a first step.

I designed the lift assist as a senior thesis at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
The lift assist will be on display at the 2008 Maker Faire for anyone to try it out.
